Privacy Policy

Introduction

LastDevOps LLC ("LastDevOps", "we", "our", "us") operates lastdevops.com, Last DevOps Academy, webinars, and coaching. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information for those offerings.

Applicant (separate product)

LastDevOps Applicant — the interview practice app at applicant.lastdevops.com — is a separate product. Practice audio, transcripts, AI feedback, and Applicant accounts are covered by the Applicant Privacy Policy and Applicant Terms of Use.

We do not move Applicant practice audio or transcripts into Skool, systeme.io, SimpleApply, or Meta Pixel. Skool membership may be used to gate Applicant access, as described in Applicant's own policy.

What information we collect

• Webinars. Full name and email address when you register.
• Community (Skool). Full name and email so you can join Last DevOps Academy / community.
• Coaching. Full name, email, postal address, phone number, and resume. We share these with SimpleApply (Coach) to fulfill coaching.
• CRM (systeme.io). Contact records from webinars, coaching, and related signup — typically name and email, plus coaching fields when you use coaching.
• Meta Pixel. Device and browser identifiers, pages viewed, and conversion-style events on our sites and marketing pages.
• Technical logs. IP address, user agent, referrer, and request timestamps from this website.
• Messages you send us. Email or other correspondence, including to privacy@lastdevops.com.

How we use it

• Run webinars and send joining details (Google Meet).
• Provide Academy / community access (Skool).
• Deliver coaching, including job-application support via SimpleApply Coach.
• Keep CRM records and send service or follow-up email (systeme.io).
• Measure and improve advertising (Meta Pixel).
• Secure the site and meet legal duties.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:

• Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — webinars, Academy, and coaching you asked for.
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — Meta Pixel / advertising cookies where required; marketing email where we ask.
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — CRM, security, improving the service, answering support mail. We balance these against your rights.
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — when law requires us to keep or disclose information.

Who we share information with

We do not sell or rent personal information for money. We share data with the platforms that actually run the service. Each has its own policy:

Under some US state laws (including California CPRA), Meta Pixel can count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. To opt out of sale/share, email privacy@lastdevops.com with the subject "Do not sell or share". You can also use Meta ad settings and aboutads.info/choices.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in a corporate transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Cookies and Meta Pixel

This site and related marketing pages use Meta Pixel cookies and similar identifiers. You can block cookies in your browser; ads measurement may then not work. Meta's practices are in the policies linked above.

International transfers

We process and store data in the United States. Processors may also process data elsewhere (systeme.io states it stores data in the EU). If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework for certified recipients. Contact privacy@lastdevops.com for current transfer documentation.

Retention

• Webinar and CRM contacts: while we work with you, then as long as needed for legitimate follow-up or legal retention, or until you ask us to delete.
• Community data: for as long as your Skool membership lasts, plus Skool's own retention.
• Coaching data (including data shared with SimpleApply): for the coaching engagement and any required legal retention.
• Server logs: a short technical window.
• Meta Pixel: also subject to Meta's retention and our event setup.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including Texas TDPSA, GDPR/UK GDPR, and similar laws), you may have rights to:

• Access a copy of your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete personal data
• Export / portability of data you provided
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based
• Opt out of sale/share for advertising
• Not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights

How to exercise: email privacy@lastdevops.com. We aim to respond within one month (or sooner where state law requires, for example 45 days under Texas TDPSA where it applies). For Applicant-specific data, use Settings → Privacy in that app, or see the Applicant Privacy Policy.

You may also complain to a supervisory authority in your country.

Children

The services are for adults. You must be at least 18 years old. We do not offer services to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

This site uses TLS in transit. We restrict access to our admin and CRM accounts. Processors apply their own security. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the Effective Date above when we do. Continued use after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy where permitted by law; for material changes that require consent, we will ask again where appropriate.
